This was so much fun! I got to watch this whole family find out what they're having for baby #4!

Mom had the clever idea (I didn't come up with this one!) and asked if I would be ok with her having the ultrasound tech write it down for me, and then they'd mail it to me! From there, all I had to do was fill a box with the appropriate balloons... Um, and see all those awesome reactions... yes please!! :)

Clearly, the majority thought it was a girl... but the little guy thought it was going to be a duck ... hahaha

... he was pretty good at quacking like one too!

Then came the big reveal... dun dun dun (cue the dramatic music please)...

Vayda was not very pleased with the results... she was really hoping for a sister. Howie, on the other hand, was the only one that was right... and pretty happy about that! Another boy it is...

Congratulations F Family! I'm so excited for you guys- you have such a beautiful family, and are so blessed! Thank you for letting me capture these incredible moments for you!

I love when I get some creative freedom over sessions... it makes it super fun to put together adorable little girl's stuff, because if you've heard me rant about it before, I have 2 boys... and adore dressing and photographing little girls! :)

I love watching kids grow up and turn into these amazing little bundles of energy, attitude and personality :) It's amazing how fast the time flies... this little dolly is on my studio wall from their session last year, and it is incredible how much she's changed, but yet has the same angelic adorable face, and her brother is a handsome little guy who was such a great little model for me. Look at these faces! So cute :)

This is one of my closest friends and her adorable family...

I wanted girls of my own so bad (I got two boys who I adore instead ;)) so the next best thing is for my girlfriend's to have girls! I still get to enjoy all their adorableness... without the drama :) lol- so I've been told anyway!

My sweet 'Aba' told her Mommy tonight,

"Mommy, I like Angie... she's a beautiful princess....but I don't like pictures"- hahaha- Just when I thought I had her fooled... you'd never know that she didn't like them though! She's so stinking cute... and got tons of candy to cooperate :) What in the world would a parent do without bribery?? Seriously :)

The busy season is upon us, and I have been horrible about blogging! Ok, so I usually don't blog a session for a couple weeks after the session, but I couldn't resist posting some of these beauties! The lighting was oh-so-perfect tonight, and the little L man was all smiles (after we warmed him up a little bit)! Between slapping away all the bugs (they were BAA-AAAD) and dabbing beads of sweat (ok, yes, a little hot) we still managed to have an AWESOME session!

Thanks so much N family for coming out and sticking it out with the nasty mosquitos!

You'll be able to remember these days of life when there were only 3... and one in the oven :)

Little Miss Meredith is such an awesome model, she does so good :) With those gorgeous blue peepers and the blond hair, she's such a doll (and not to mention, her mom picks out the CUTEST stuff)!

We went into 'the city' (ok, not downtown, but a city different than our own :) hahaha) for her session and we had so much fun, scouring the city, trying to find little nooks and cool spots.

We did make a little Subway stop in the middle to refuel little Miss M., and then we were on our way again... just gave her a little boost to catch some of my favorite shots at the end of our evening.

Sweet Little Emie Love

Love this little blue eyed babe... almost as much as her mama :)

Such a doll, she makes the cutest little faces... then the camera comes up... and she goes blank! hahaha

She had us working hard ... looking like fools, jumping all around making crazy noises and dancing... all in a days work :)

She was all about her cake too... some kids get it on their fingers and then they freak out a little (surprisingly that's what my always crazy now-4-year-old did), but not Emie! She was so into it, wiping it all over her clothes and the floor, and then scooping it back up and putting it in her mouth! hahaha

Sigh... I Must say (again)... I love my job!

I love finding little nooks where there are these gorgeous flowers blooming (er, maybe itch weed, I don't know, but it's pretty anyway)! It seems like these spots appear and then disappear almost as fast...

So glad I found this little gem of a spot for a couple sessions, even though I ended up getting poison ivy ... It was totally worth it ;)

Finally, some new pictures of my own family! :) Yay!

I exchanged family sessions with a photographer friend of mine (she did the shooting, and I did the editing), but what I wasn't counting on was the 90+ degree weather we've been having!

I had already picked out outfits for the boys (love layers... what can I say?? I'm horrible! I still made them wear it) so needless to say there was some MAJOR bribery going on for this session. Of course Caleb (my youngest) doesn't quite understand bribery 100% yet, Kaden does, and thank God for that! I think I probably had to bribe Chad too, because he's a bigger baby than the 2 boys put together.

The boys ended up doing a great job, AND they got ice cream and lots of PEZ... totally worth it ;)

Sooo, in the end, if your big day is coming up and it's one of those super duper hot and muggy days, don't fret. Just promise lots of ice cream (and bring some extra dry clothes, because you might be a little sticky) and you'll be good to go! :)

We started this session indoors, and thankfully the weather was beautiful (albeit a little chilly) so we were able to take a little jaunt around the studio and find some cool spots to sit for some outdoor shots! I LOVE the area around the studio, I just need to do some more searching, and find all the little hidden treasure spots! :)

Let me start this post by saying I learned two things at my session this morning...

1. Parents of twins are superhuman!

2. You never know when getting two twin 1-year-old boys NAKED will make them happy as clams! :) hahaha!

Had such a great time with all these kiddos today... The twins and their sister and their cousins came at the end as well :) All cute as can be of course. Mom did such a great time picking out all these adorable outfits... little did she know they would be super happy when she shed all the clothes... ;) hahaha- Whatever works!

Oh Amelia, look how you've grown! What a gorgeous little girl with a gentle, sweet spirit. Her eyes are the prettiest shade of blue, they're almost silver. It always amazes me how much kids change from their newborn session to their 6 month session, yet they're still so much the same.

This has got to be my favorite age though, it comes and goes so fast, but they're not walking or crawling away yet... ahhh, a captive child.

Rare indeed, and never lasts long enough :)

He was one of the happiest kids ever!
He made my job so easy, and fun.
Reminded me today that I DO have THE best job in the world :)
(At least I think so!)

Some kids sort of take their time warming up to me, and so we just hang out for a bit before I start snapping away, but he was just totally at ease, and was giving me the smiles that makes you just HAVE to smile back! Not just with his mouth, but he smiled with his eyes :)

His sister was just as adorable and waited ever-so-patiently for her turn at the end :) We did a special little shoot for just her. She was such a trooper!

Thanks for coming to see me at the studio today :)

Whew, it came and went so fast! Thanks so much to everyone who made it out to the Linabell Studio Open House, it was a huge success!

So great to see so many faces! The kids had a blast making cookies, and getting their faces painted. There was a lot of hard work that went into some of those cookies... I *may* have enjoyed a couple myself ... The frosting was delish! ;)

A HUGE thank you to Alison for coming and spending the afternoon with us, painting so many adorable faces! What a great job you did, and it wouldn't have been the same without you :)

Thanks to everyone who helped make this day a success. I feel blessed to have met so many new faces and have those in my life that were able to share this day with me!

It's been so long since I've blogged, even though I keep telling myself I'm going to get better at it!

Here is the last newborn I had, such an amazing little boy :) He slept so sound and peacefully. Such a beautiful baby and mama. She had a nice 'break' with me, as this is the little brother to two older sisters, who were at home. Wow, Mom's of 3 kids, I commend you! :)

Thank you for coming out to the Linabell Studio! I LOVE my newborn sessions. They just remind you of how fast time really goes with little ones. They are only this small for such a short period of time. Thanks for sharing some of those moments with me :)

Another set of twins, I just LOVE twins :) Double the fun :)

This is one of the little guys I've had the pleasure of watching grow up! He just turned one and is walking all over the place! So cute :)

It's so fun to see little ones go form babies to tots... I love watching them change and turn into the adorable little munchkins they become! It just amazes me that through all the changes, they still look the same and have the same adorable smiles as they did as a baby. It goes so fast!
